The Ayushman mobile app, officially launched by the Government of India, represents a significant step in enhancing healthcare accessibility under the Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY). This flagship scheme offers cashless secondary and tertiary care treatment from empanelled public and private hospitals, covering over 10 crore poor and vulnerable families across the nation.
The National Health Authority (NHA), as the apex body, oversees the implementation of the Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY, ensuring that the scheme reaches its intended beneficiaries effectively. With the introduction of the Ayushman app, beneficiaries now have a convenient tool at their fingertips to generate their "Ayushman card," which entitles them to free treatment up to INR 5 Lakhs.
We are excited to announce the official launch of this mobile application, designed to empower beneficiaries and other stakeholders. The app allows users to independently access their "Ayushman card" and soon, they will be able to avail other benefits offered by PM-JAY, further enhancing the scheme's impact on public health.
