Carplounge Autopilot / Raymarine Element App for RT7 & RT4 V4

The Carplounge Autopilot revolutionizes the way you control your BaitBoat by utilizing an Android tablet or phone instead of a traditional remote control. The essential software, available for free on the Google Play Store, is compatible with any Android device equipped with Bluetooth. By connecting the tablet to the boat via a Bluetooth transmitter box, you can fully operate the boat using the touchscreen interface.

In manual mode, the functionality mirrors that of a standard BaitBoat, allowing you to steer it via the touchscreen. The app displays the boat's position, route, and orientation with a compass function on the map, updating continuously. You can also save and name promising fishing spots discovered with the echo sounder, using the integrated GPS, for example, "jetty left", "spot 1", or "home".

Switching to autopilot mode, you can select and combine points into a route with specific actions such as opening the left or right hatch, releasing bait, or turning on lights.

Example Route:

1. Navigate to "Sandbank", open the right hopper upon arrival.
2. Proceed to "Spot 2", open the left hopper upon reaching the location.
3. Return to the fishing spot and blink once.

The boat can then be loaded to automatically follow the designated route. The system can store an almost unlimited number of spots and routes. Thanks to advanced measurement technology, including position and acceleration sensors, along with the latest GPS and compass technology, the route guidance is incredibly precise, achieving 90% accuracy within 30cm.

The autopilot also intelligently manages line tension when deploying rods to different spots. If one or both lines are tensioned during movement, the built-in electronics detect this and adjust the boat's course accordingly, maintaining a direct path to the target without unnecessary deviations that could cause line bends.

While the autopilot replaces the standard remote control, we offer the flexibility to connect a remote control to the autopilot system. This allows you to choose between controlling the boat via your tablet or the remote control. The app is optimized for 10-inch Android tablets with Bluetooth for the best user experience.

The free app, accessible through the Google Play Store, is continuously developed and expanded by our team. Automatic software updates ensure that new features, changes, and enhancements are quickly available without the need to return the autopilot or boat for updates. The autopilot app updates automatically, similar to other tablet and smartphone apps.
