To validate these OTPs, you'll need to integrate with FortiOS, FortiAuthenticator, or FortiToken Cloud.

Privacy and Control

Your privacy is paramount with FortiToken Mobile. The app does not alter your phone's settings, capture photos or videos, record audio, or send emails without your explicit permission. It also does not access your browser history. The app only requests your permission for notifications or settings changes. Importantly, FortiToken Mobile cannot perform a remote wipe of your device. The app's visibility into your device is limited to verifying your OS version for compatibility checks. During manual setup, you might enter sensitive data like email addresses or token seeds for FortiToken tokens, 3rd party tokens, and token transfers.

While FortiToken Mobile respects your control over your device, certain permissions are necessary for its operation:

• Camera Access: This is used for scanning QR codes to activate tokens effortlessly.
• TouchID/FaceID: These features enhance the app's security.
• Internet Access: Required for token activation and receiving push notifications.
• "Send Feedback by Email": This permission allows the app to auto-fill the sender field in your email client.
• File Sharing: Enables the app to prepare attachments for feedback emails.
• Wake Lock: Keeps your phone awake during database upgrades to prevent data corruption.
