The Padova Urbs Picta app is your guide to Padua's 14th-century fresco masterpieces. Journey through time to discover the works of Giotto and other renowned artists of the era that have transformed the city into a vibrant hub of art and culture.
This app showcases eight UNESCO sites: the Scrovegni Chapel (featuring Giotto's frescoes), the Church of the Eremitani, Palazzo della Ragione, the Chapel of the Carraresi Palace, the Cathedral Baptistery, the Basilica and Monastery of St. Anthony, and the Oratories of St. George and St. Michael.
Each location is richly detailed with ten informative elements, including images and audio descriptions (with an autoplay option). A glossary is available to clarify any unfamiliar terms.
Track your progress with the in-app journal, earning culture points and badges. Complete the quiz to discover your medieval persona and enjoy a captivating story inspired by 14th-century Padua.
