A free SVG painting app: PainterSVG
PainterSVG is a W3C-standard Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) editor. Unlike bitmap images, SVG uses shapes, not pixels, ensuring no loss of detail when scaling. Key features include:
- Creating and editing shapes (lines, circles, rectangles).
- Path creation and editing, supporting straight, cubic, and quadratic lines with easy drag-and-drop manipulation of control points.
- Simple stroke and fill definition for all shapes and paths.
- Single color, linear gradient, and radial gradient fills.
- Easy selection, deselection, movement, resizing, and rotation of elements.
- Convenient zoom functionality.
- Grouping and ungrouping of elements.
- Import and export of SVG files.
- Export to PNG (transparent background) or JPG (white background).
Further features are under development.

This update introduces layer opacity support.
