In addition to SSA/ASS, this player also supports subtitles in SUP (Blu-ray) and VobSub (DVD) formats, starting from version 5.1. You have the flexibility to use subtitles that are either embedded within MKV files or loaded separately. Whether you choose to select a single subtitle file or manage multiple files packaged in Zip, 7Z, or RAR formats, this player accommodates your needs during playback.

This update brings several enhancements and fixes, including improvements to subtitles auto-selection, resolution of the first chapter 0:00 issue, and better adaptation to new systems.

You can now set a default language for subtitles in the selection box, making it easier to tailor your viewing experience. The ability to select a subtitle file directly from the Storage Access Framework content page has been added, allowing you to access files from local storage, Samba/Windows sharing, or WebDAV clients, depending on your chosen SAF content provider apps.

Efforts have also been made to resolve a DMR service crash bug, ensuring a more stable and reliable performance.
