While our app does not censor content, we ensure that the experience remains non-triggering through robust anti-bullying systems and a comprehensive self-moderation system. This allows users to choose the content they are ready to engage with.

Ryff

A key feature of RYFFC is the Ryff. A Ryff is a concise "hot take" from a user on an article, limited to just 88 characters. This innovative approach allows fellow Ryffers to engage with articles, pop culture, and news in a fresh way, moving away from traditional comment structures. If you find a Ryff you want to respond to, you can interact with the Ryffer through a Ryff Back. Remember, at RYFFC, we take turns, so use your words wisely; you can only Ryff on another's Ryff once until they respond.

Self Moderation

At RYFFC, users have the power to self-select the level of controversy or triggering material they wish to encounter. We offer three levels of moderation:

• G - "General" audience moderation level, suitable for users who prefer mild or non-controversial content.
• M - "Moderate" audience moderation level, ideal for users who are comfortable with mild to moderately controversial content.
• BE - "Bleeding Edge" audience moderation level, for users who want to view all content, including highly controversial material.

Voting

In addition to self-moderation, users can vote on the moderation level of articles, influencing what content is seen by others.

Superboost

Superboost adds a fun and exciting twist to the traditional "Like" feature. If you come across a post you really enjoy, you can give it an extra boost to show your support.

Like/Dislike

Our Like/Dislike system is given a fresh take. Instead of clicking a thumb, you can swipe left or right on the article to express your opinion.
