29 Card Game Plus
Enjoy the classic offline card game 29 anytime, anywhere!
29 (sometimes called 28, with minor rule variations) is a South Asian trick-taking card game where Jacks and Nines are the highest cards in each suit.
Typically played by four players in fixed partnerships (partners opposite each other), it uses 32 cards from a standard deck. The suits are the usual hearts, diamonds, clubs, and spades, with each suit ranking: J-9-A-10-K-Q-8-7. The goal is to win tricks with high-value cards.
Card values are:
- Jacks: 3 points each
- Nines: 2 points each
- Aces: 1 point each
- Tens: 1 point each
- Other cards (K, Q, 8, 7): 0 points
This totals 28 points. Some versions add a point for the last trick, making 29 (hence the name), though many modern players omit this.
Traditionally, Twos, Threes, Fours, and Fives (removed from the deck) indicate trumps, with each player receiving one of each suit. Sixes are used for scoring.
