Damasi Rules

• Board Setup: The game is played on an 8×8 board with 16 men on each side, arranged in two rows, leaving the back row empty.
• Movement and Capture: Men can move forward or sideways one square and capture by jumping over an opponent's piece. Men cannot move backwards. Upon reaching the back row, a man is promoted to a king, which can move any number of squares in any direction (forward, backward, or sideways) and capture similarly.
• Capture Rules: Captured pieces are removed immediately after being jumped. If a jump is possible, it must be taken. When multiple captures are possible, the player must choose the sequence that captures the most pieces. There's no distinction between capturing a man or a king; each counts as one piece.
