Use the touch control gamepad to move Zhao Yun and press the SWORD icon button to battle enemies or collect items and flags. Gathering a set number of flags allows you to press the FLAG/MAGIC icon button for a full-screen attack. When the green bar in the top-left corner is full, press the FIRE icon button to execute a special powerful attack. Occasionally, the FIRE icon changes to a HORSE icon, indicating you can immediately mount a nearby horse or elephant. While riding, you gain increased speed and power.
