Your Ultimate Word Games Assistant (Lexulous, Scrabble, Words With Friends, Wordfeud)
Duplikat makes it fun to sharpen your skills in any word game where you create crossword-style combinations from letter tiles.
At the start of each turn, the app shows you 7 letters drawn from the virtual "bag." Your goal is to find and place the highest-scoring word on the board. Once you decide—or when the thinking time runs out in a timed game—tap "Validate" to submit your move. The app then reveals the "max score": the word that would earn the most points in that position and displays it on the board. You only score points for the word you actually found. Next, the app draws fresh letters from the bag, and play continues.
For the first 15 moves, each rack must contain at least two vowels and two consonants. From move 16 onward, at least one vowel and one consonant are required. If the initial seven-letter draw doesn’t meet these rules, those letters are returned to the bag and seven new ones are chosen. The game ends if the bag runs out of either vowels or consonants.
- The app includes a selection of prepared games you can replay in full. You can also start random games and play them up to the 8th move. With Duplikat Pro, this limit is removed so you can finish every game.
- Save any game for later replay or email it (in CSV or TXT format).
- Multiple dictionaries are supported: French, English, Spanish, German, Dutch, Italian, and Romanian. The app interface is fully translated into all these languages.
- Choose from several board styles: Scrabble, Words With Friends, Wordfeud, and Lexulous.
- Optional display of the current max score and word validation.
- Play timed games with turn limits from 15 seconds to 10 minutes.
- Joker (blank tile) game mode.
- Topping mode.
