About Hazari:
Hazari is a four-player card game played with a standard 52-card deck. Each player receives 13 cards, totaling 52 cards in play. Players arrange their cards from highest to lowest and signal when ready by calling "up." Once all players are up, the game begins with the player to the right of the dealer.
The gameplay involves players throwing cards in rounds, with the highest card value winning the round and collecting all cards played. The winner then leads the next round. Points are calculated at the end of each game, with cards from Ace (A) to 10 valued at 10 points each, and cards from 9 to 2 valued at 5 points each. The ultimate goal is to accumulate 1000 points across multiple games.
In case of ties, the player who throws the higher set of cards wins. For example, if Player 1 throws AKQ of Hearts, Player 2 throws 678 of Spades, Player 3 throws AKQ of Diamonds, and Player 4 throws 55J of Hearts, Player 3 wins with AKQ of Diamonds.
Card Ranking:
- Troy: Three of a kind (e.g., AAA, KKK, QQQ).
- Color Run: Three consecutive cards of the same suit (e.g., AKQ of Spades).
- Run: Three consecutive cards of any suit (e.g., AKQ of mixed suits).
- Color: Any three cards of the same suit (e.g., K83 of Spades).
- Pair: Two cards of the same rank (e.g., 443, 99J).
- Indi or Individuals: Any three cards not forming a set or sequence (e.g., 5 of Hearts, 7 of Spades, 9 of Diamonds).
How to Play:
Players start by arranging their 13 cards into four groups: three sets of three cards and one set of four cards. The game progresses in rounds:
- The first player throws three cards, followed by the other players.
- The winner of the first round throws their next set of three cards, and the process repeats.
