Also known as MindiKot, Mendhi Coat, Mindi Multiplayer, and Dehla Pakad (which translates to "Collect the tens"), Mindi is designed for four players divided into two partnerships, seated opposite each other. The game utilizes a standard 52-card deck, and the player who draws the highest card becomes the first dealer. The dealer shuffles and deals 13 cards to each player.
Mindi offers two exciting game modes for endless fun:
Hide Mode: In this mode, the player to the dealer's right selects a card and places it face down on the table. This card determines the trump suit for the round.
Cut Mode: Here, the game begins without a chosen trump suit. If a player cannot follow suit, the card they play becomes the trump for that deal.
Once the trump suit is established, the highest card of that suit played in a trick wins it. If no trump cards are played, the highest card of the led suit takes the trick. The winner of each trick leads the next one, and all captured tricks are kept in a face-down pile by the winner.
A partnership that captures three or four of the Tens wins the hand. Capturing all four Tens is known as Mendicot, marking a significant achievement in the game.
