HOW TO PLAY
Ludo is a classic dice and race game designed for two players, each controlling two houses with a total of eight pieces. The objective is to move all eight pieces from the starting point to the home before your opponent does.
MOVEMENT OF PIECE
The game begins with the player having the red house. To bring a piece out of the house, you need to roll a 6 on the die. Once on the track, pieces can move with any dice outcome. The track consists of 56 steps, leading from the starting point to the center of the board. A piece can be removed either by completing the 56-step journey or by capturing an opponent's piece.
PIECE CAPTURE
Capturing is a key strategic element in Ludo. If a player's piece lands on a block occupied by an opponent's piece, the opponent's piece is captured and must be returned to its starting position. The capturing piece remains on the board. The aim is to capture as many of your opponent's pieces as possible while protecting your own. Note that a piece cannot capture an opponent's piece if the remaining dice outcome cannot be used.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- A player can roll the dice consecutively if each roll results in a 6.
- The outcome of a dice roll must be played before rolling again, regardless of the outcome.
- For a faster and smoother gameplay experience, go to settings and enable DIRECT COUNT.
