Tute Cabrero is a beloved traditional card game throughout South America

Gameplay Basics

This engaging game accommodates 3 to 5 individual players competing against each other without forming teams.

Players can choose between two victory conditions: achieving the highest score or intentionally collecting the fewest points, with the second-place player losing. The game utilizes a 40-card Spanish deck.

Card Hierarchy

The card ranking system, from most to least valuable, is as follows:

• Ace (worth 11 points)
• 3 (worth 10 points)
• King (4 points)
• Knight (3 points)
• Jack (2 points)
• 7, 6, 5, 4, and 2 (no point value)

Playing Rules

The initial card played in each trick establishes the active suit. Players must follow this suit when possible. If unable, any card may be played. The trump suit always takes priority in winning tricks. When no trump is played, the highest card of the leading suit claims the trick.
