A Story Set in the World of Trails

Set in Year 1205 of the Seventh Calendar, *The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel: Northern War* unfolds in the Northumbria Autonomous Province located in the northwestern region of the Zemuria continent. The story takes place between the events of *Trails of Cold Steel II* and *Trails of Cold Steel III*, offering a compelling narrative centered around Lavi—a passionate young hunter who joins the legendary "Jagers of the North" to defend her homeland.

Motivated by a desire to protect her people and distance herself from the shadow of her grandfather Vlad, once hailed as a hero but later branded a traitor, Lavi dedicates herself to the Jaeger Corps. However, her repeated breaches of discipline lead her to be assigned to a squad with fellow Jaegers Marty, Iselia, and Talion, where they are tasked with a daring espionage mission into the Erebonian Empire. Their goal? To uncover the truth behind the mysterious “Hero of the Empire”—a looming threat to Northumbria.
