What's on the Horizon?

Gone are the days of single, large annual updates. Mojang is transitioning to a model of multiple, smaller updates released throughout the year, keeping the game fresh and engaging.

Minecraft Live is also getting a refresh. Instead of a single October event, there will now be two showcases annually, providing more frequent updates on upcoming features and ongoing testing. The traditional mob vote is being discontinued.
