War Thunder Mobile's Open Beta for Air Battles Takes Flight!

Gaijin Entertainment launches the open beta for aircraft battles in War Thunder Mobile, delivering intense aerial combat action. This update introduces over 100 planes from three nations (with more to come!), expanding the game beyond its previous naval and ground support aircraft involvement.

This open beta introduces a full-fledged aerial tech tree and a dedicated air combat mode to War Thunder Mobile.

Explore the Skies: Planes from the USA, Germany, and the USSR are currently available, featuring iconic aircraft such as the P-51 Mustang, Messerschmitt Bf 109, and the La-5. More nations are planned for future updates. Players can choose to focus on a single nation's tech tree or diversify their progress across multiple nations. High-ranking aircraft can be acquired through blueprints earned in in-game events, with the first event launching in early October.

The Aviation Campaign: The open beta provides access to a new Aviation campaign, complete with an aircraft hangar for managing vehicles, researching tech trees, and upgrading crews. Squadrons of up to four aircraft can be formed, allowing for customization of aircraft armaments. See the action in the trailer below!

Aircraft Hangar and Customization: The aircraft hangar serves as the central hub for managing aircraft. Players can view their vehicles, apply camouflage, explore the tech tree, and invite friends to join their squadrons. Each aircraft slot offers options to swap vehicles, modify armaments, or upgrade crews. Squadrons can be built using any available aircraft, regardless of class, nation, or rank.
