Pokémon GO Fest 2025: A Global Celebration

The Pokémon GO Fest 2025 will be a three-day extravaganza held in three global cities throughout June:

• Osaka, Japan: May 29th - June 1st
• Jersey City, New Jersey, USA: June 6th - June 8th
• Paris, France: June 13th - June 15th

Further event details will be revealed in March 2025. Remember, event specifics are subject to change, but we'll keep you updated.

This annual event offers trainers exclusive items, gameplay enhancements, and bonuses. In-person events, requiring ticket purchases, provide unique city-specific experiences. Expect rare Pokémon encounters, increased Shiny rates, and exclusive merchandise, similar to past events.

January Events: Fashion Week and Shadow Raid Day

Beyond Pokémon GO Fest, Niantic announced two exciting January events:

Fashion Week: Taken Over (January 15th - 19th, 2025, 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm local time):

• Rescue Shadow Palkia from Team GO Rocket and Giovanni.
• Debut of Shroodle and Grafaiai from 12 km Eggs.
• Appearances of Shadow Pokémon like Snivy and Tepig.
• Chance to encounter a fashionably dressed Croagunk during snapshots.

Shadow Raid Day (January 19th, 2025, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm local time):

• Capture Shadow Ho-Oh in Five-Star Shadow Raids.
• $5 USD ticket grants eight Raid Passes, increased Rare Candy XL chances, 2x Stardust, and 50% XP bonus from Raids.
• Increased Shiny Ho-Oh encounter rate.
• Opportunity to teach Ho-Oh its signature move, Sacred Fire, using a Charged TM.
