The free-to-play RPG AFK Journey is gearing up for its next seasonal update, "Chains of Eternity," bringing a fresh wave of content. This guide details the release date and new features.
Chains of Eternity Season Release Date
The Chains of Eternity season launches globally on January 17th. For players on servers other than the global version, access depends on server age (at least 35 days old) and meeting these prerequisites:
- Reaching Resonance level 240.
- Completing all pre-season AFK stages.
Meeting these conditions ensures you'll receive the update on the scheduled date.
New Content in Chains of Eternity
Chains of Eternity introduces:
- A new map and story chapter.
- New heroes: Lorsan (Wilder), Elijah and Lailah (Celestial).
- A new Dream Realm boss: Illucia.
Significant gameplay adjustments include:
- A daily cap on AFK progress.
- Paragon level adjustments for increased impact.
- Exclusive Equipment enhancements: The boost from +15 to +20 will be more substantial, increasing returns on investment in Supreme+ units, although this also makes further investment more costly.
