Among the survivors is Wendy (played by Sydney Chandler), a young woman, alongside a team of tactical soldiers. Their unexpected discovery leads them straight into the path of humanity’s gravest threat.

To put things into perspective, the recently released *Alien: Romulus* takes place between *Alien* and *Aliens*. In this era, Earth is dominated by five corporations: Weyland-Yutani, Prodigy, Lynch, Dynamic, and Threshold. Humans share the world with cyborgs and synthetics, but everything changes when Prodigy’s visionary CEO creates hybrids—humanoid robots infused with human consciousness. Wendy, the first hybrid prototype, represents a significant leap toward the quest for immortality central to the Alien franchise.

When Weyland-Yutani’s spacecraft collides with Prodigy City, Wendy and the hybrids encounter life forms even more horrifying than anticipated. This hints at the possibility of additional xenomorph varieties or entirely new threats, given that there are rumored to be five types of these creatures.
