Animal Crossing: Lobo Joins Pocket Camp
Unlocking and Befriending Lobo in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp
Lobo, a charming wolf character in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, can be a delightful addition to your campsite. This guide details how to unlock him, invite him, and complete his special requests.
Unlocking Lobo
Lobo becomes available to you at a random point between levels 20 and 39 of your Camp Manager level. You unlock two new animals per level, and the specific animal is random.
Once unlocked, Lobo might appear on your map every three hours. If he doesn't appear, use a Calling Card:
- Access your Contacts (icon above your planner). Navigate to the wolf tab and locate Lobo.
- Select Lobo and choose "Call." This summons him for 3 hours.
Leveling up your Camp Manager involves interacting with animals, fulfilling their requests, and providing snacks. Completing Gulliver's Ship villager maps at Blathers's Treasure Trek offers another way to gain experience and potentially unlock additional villagers.
Inviting Lobo to Your Campsite
To invite Lobo, he needs to reach friendship level 5. You'll also need to craft these items:
| Item | Cost (Bells) | Materials | Craft Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Geometric Rug | 320 | x3 Paper, x3 Cotton | 1 minute |
| Retro Fridge | 560 | x30 Steel | 2 hours 30 mins |
| Cabin Armchair | 650 | x3 Wood, x3 Cotton | 1 minute |
| Cabin Table | 740 | x30 Wood | 3 hours 30 mins |
| Vintage Camera | 1790 | x3 Historical Essence, x30 Wood, x30 Steel | 1 hour 30 mins |

Increase Lobo's friendship level by completing his requests (use Request Tickets if needed – 3 per villager daily) or by gifting him treats. Historical-themed treats (Plain, Tasty, or Gourmet Pound Cake) are ideal.
Completing Lobo's Special Request
At friendship level 10, Lobo presents a special request: crafting a Vintage Telephone.

This takes 18 hours and costs 9980 Bells, requiring:
- x2 Sparkle Stones
- x4 Historical Essence
- x75 Wood
- x75 Steel
Completing this earns you +10 friendship points, 1000 Bells, a Request Ticket, and a Calling Card. The Vintage Telephone is also needed for several Happy Homeroom classes (Meditative Room, Meditative Room 2, and Edo Zen Home 2).
