Applin and Dynamax Entei to Debut in Pokémon Go This Month

May 14,25

Two exciting Pokémon from the Galar region are making their debut in Pokémon Go this month, offering a mix of sweetness and firepower. The Sweet Discoveries event, running from April 24th to 29th, introduces the adorable Dragon/Grass-type Applin. To evolve Applin, you'll need 200 Applin Candy along with either 20 Sweet Apples for Appletun or 20 Tart Apples for Flapple. These apples can be found in the wild, especially near Mossy Lures, and might even trigger Applin encounters.

During Sweet Discoveries, you'll encounter wild spawns like Bounsweet, Skwovet, and Delibird. Field Research and Eggs will offer additional opportunities to catch themed Pokémon such as Munchlax and Cherubi. Timed Research, available in both free and paid versions, allows you to collect Sweet and Tart Apples. The paid version also provides extra Mossy Lure Modules and more Applin encounters.

ytDon't miss out on the Applin Headband and Apron available in the shop, and keep an eye on PokéStop Showcases featuring themed Pokémon. If you're more interested in power than sweetness, mark your calendar for April 26th–27th for the Max Battle Weekend featuring the debut of Dynamax Entei. With a bit of luck, you might even encounter a Shiny Entei.

Prepare for these events with these Pokémon Go codes to enhance your gameplay!

Several bonuses will be active during both events, including an increased Max Particle cap, reduced distance required to collect them, and higher Power Spot refresh rates. You'll earn eight times more Max Particles from each Power Spot visited. Leading up to the Max Battle Weekend, free Timed Research begins on April 21st, rewarding you with a Dynamax Sobble to counter Entei's fiery attacks.

Stock up for both events by visiting the Pokémon Go Web Store.
