Pocket Gamer recently discovered Dynabytes' Fantasma at Gamescom Latam – a multiplayer augmented reality (AR) GPS adventure game. This exciting title recently received an update adding Japanese, Korean, Malay, and Portuguese language support, with German, Italian, and Spanish planned for the coming months.

But what is Fantasma? Players hunt and battle mischievous creatures using portable electromagnetic fields as bait. Combat takes place in AR, requiring players to move their phones to track and target the Fantasma, shooting virtual projectiles to reduce their health and ultimately capturing them in special bottles.

Fantasma creatures appear based on real-world location, encouraging exploration. Players can deploy sensors to expand their search radius and even team up with others for a collaborative experience.
