Studio Wildcard has unveiled an updated content roadmap for ARK: Survival Ascended, outlining nearly two years of planned updates.

The ARK: Survival Evolved remaster, launched in early access in late November 2023, continues to receive regular content updates. On January 11th, Studio Wildcard detailed its roadmap, extending to late 2026. The initial focus is a technical patch upgrading ARK: Survival Ascended to Unreal Engine 5.5, promising significant performance improvements and the return of Nvidia's frame generation. This update also lays the groundwork for individual DLC map downloads, reducing the overall game size.

ARK: Survival Ascended Content Roadmap for 2025–2026

Following the UE5 update, April 2025 will bring a new Fantastic Tame and a free Bison. A new paid map DLC will debut in June 2025, with details forthcoming. August 2025 adds another Fantastic Tame and a community-voted free creature.

2026 focuses on remastering the Genesis expansions, releasing Genesis: Part 1 and Bob's True Tales Part 1 in April, followed by Parts 2 in August. A free Fjordur Ascended update arrives in December, along with three more Fantastic Tames throughout the year. While this roadmap provides a high-level overview, Studio Wildcard may have additional surprises planned for the next two years.
