Since its release over a month ago, Assassin’s Creed Shadows (AC Shadows) has captivated players, and Ubisoft is committed to enhancing the experience with a series of updates. On May 1, Ubisoft shared their year 1 post-launch roadmap on Twitter (X), detailing new story and gameplay content.

A highlight of the roadmap is the introduction of new Story Drops, which are free content additions to the game. Ubisoft explains, "These new free quests will introduce new player abilities, new allies, new world activities, and provide deeper looks and backstories for some of your favorite characters, each new piece of content expanding on the main game."

In addition to the free content, Ubisoft is gearing up for the release of their first expansion, The Claws of Awaji, slated for later this year. This DLC will transport players to the island of Awaji, a fresh region to explore post-epilogue. Players can expect new enemies, new abilities for both protagonists, and an exclusive new weapon for Naoe.
