Ubisoft has officially announced the global release times for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, marking a significant departure from the series' usual staggered release strategy. This time around, there's no option for early access, ensuring everyone gets to dive into the game at the same time worldwide.

For gamers on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S, Assassin’s Creed Shadows will launch at 12am local time on March 20. PC players, however, will need to take note of different release times depending on the platform they choose. If you're playing on Steam, your release times vary across different time zones, while Ubi Connect users have their own set of specific times.

Pre-loading is already available for Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5, and PC, allowing eager fans to get ready ahead of the official launch.

The anticipation for Assassin’s Creed Shadows is palpable, especially following Ubisoft's recent challenges with delays and less-than-expected sales of Star Wars Outlaws. The gaming giant has faced several setbacks, including high-profile flops, layoffs, studio closures, and game cancellations, making Assassin’s Creed Shadows a crucial release for them.
