Atomfall: New Gameplay Trailer Unveils Post-Apocalyptic England

Rebellion Developments' upcoming first-person survival game, Atomfall, plunges players into an alternate 1960s England devastated by nuclear war. A new seven-minute gameplay trailer offers a comprehensive look at the game's core mechanics.

The trailer establishes Atomfall's setting: a post-nuclear Britain reminiscent of Fallout and STALKER. Players will navigate quarantine zones, explore dilapidated villages and abandoned research bunkers, scavenging resources to survive hostile environments, robotic threats, and fanatical cultists.

Gameplay features a blend of melee and ranged combat. While the trailer showcases basic weaponry – a cricket bat, revolver, shotgun, and bolt-action rifle – it highlights weapon upgrades and the possibility of discovering more advanced firearms within the game world. Resource management is key, allowing players to craft essential healing items and combat tools such as Molotov cocktails and sticky bombs. A metal detector aids in locating hidden supplies and crafting materials.

Further enhancing the survival experience, Atomfall incorporates a skill tree system. Players can unlock and upgrade abilities across four categories: melee combat, ranged combat, survival skills, and physical conditioning.

Launching March 27th on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC, Atomfall will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one. Rebellion promises another in-depth video soon, so fans should stay tuned to their social media channels for updates.
