Battlefield 6 is set for launch this October with an $80 standard edition price.

According to reliable leaker Billbil-kun from Dealabs, the game will release on October 10, 2025, across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Alongside the standard edition ($79.99), a pricier Phantom Edition ($109.99) will be available, though PC players reportedly get a $10 discount.

Pre-orders open July 31, with confirmation expected later today that no early access will be granted—regardless of edition—a departure from current industry norms. Standard edition owners can upgrade to Phantom Edition post-launch for $29.99.

The Battlefield team has also confirmed an upcoming open beta. In a recent social media post, the official account teased weapon flexibility: "Starting at Open Beta, players can choose official playlists with Signature Weapons locked to class—or not."

EA's full Battlefield 6 reveal arrives today at 8 AM PT (July 24), featuring the debut trailer. Yesterday, a campaign teaser hinted at NATO under siege: attacks in Georgia, Gibraltar's invasion, and Brussels HQ assassination by the shadowy Pax Armata faction.

Announced cryptically in 2021 post-Battlefield 2042, the modern-set sequel remained under wraps until recent leaks. Early concept art surfaced, followed by enthusiastic reports from closed Battlefield Labs testers—now EA's primary feedback source.

Unlike 2042's tepid launch, early impressions suggest strong approval, with EA initially tolerating leaks showcasing new mechanics like vehicle clambering, refined movement, and dynamic destruction. Other confirmed features include 3D maps, QoL upgrades, and glimpses of a battle royale mode.
