"Beginner's Guide to Mastering Rune Slayer"
After two failed launches and months of anticipation, *Rune Slayer* has finally arrived, and it's nothing short of glorious. Whether you're new to MMORPGs or a seasoned veteran, diving into *Rune Slayer* can be overwhelming. Fear not, as we've crafted a comprehensive guide to help you embark on your epic journey within this captivating world.
Rune Slayer Beginner Tips
Here are some essential tips we wish we had known from the start, designed to ease your initial steps in *Rune Slayer*.
Do Not Randomly Attack Other Players

The thought of full-loot PvP in *Rune Slayer* might have initially alarmed us, fearing another relentless bloodbath. However, our fears were largely unfounded. In *Rune Slayer*, dying—even at the hands of another player—doesn't mean you lose your possessions. You simply respawn and continue your adventure.
Yet, there's a catch. Attacking other players earns you a bounty. The more players you kill, the higher your bounty grows, increasing the items you drop upon death. Thus, engaging in PvP can transform *Rune Slayer* into a full-loot experience, but only if you start attacking others and then fall in battle yourself.
Our advice? Refrain from attacking other players unless you have a compelling reason or a supportive group ready to back you up in your ganking endeavors.
Craft Bags ASAP

You'll quickly notice that both your bank and inventory spaces are limited, with the inventory filling up faster than you might expect. To combat this, *Rune Slayer* allows you to craft bags. You can equip up to two bags simultaneously, starting with the Cotton Bag.
Gather Cotton from north of Wayshire and Flax from the more dangerous south. Each Cotton Bag adds an extra 10 slots to your inventory, so prioritize crafting these as soon as possible.
Your Pets Don't Actually Die

A common misunderstanding is that your pets die permanently when their health reaches zero. In reality, a "dead" pet simply can't be summoned for 5 minutes. You can check this cooldown by holding T. Once the cooldown is over, hold T again to summon your pet back into action.
A handy tip: To quickly heal your pet, store and then unstore it at the stable master, utilizing your one free slot.
Grab All the Quests (Yes, All of Them)

*Rune Slayer* is brimming with quests, many of which are not repeatable and can blend together into a sea of "kill 10 X" tasks. To efficiently navigate this, accept every quest you encounter, including those from the Job board. Completing multiple quests simultaneously is far more manageable than tackling them one by one, and you may even find opportunities to complete multiple quests in a single outing.
Craft Everything at Least Once (Even Things You Don't Need)

While it's crucial to craft items you need, don't hesitate to use spare materials to craft items you might not immediately require. Crafting items for the first time often unlocks new, more powerful crafting options. For instance, smelting your first Iron Ore can unlock a range of new Iron Armor crafts. So, don't hoard your materials; use them to unlock new crafting possibilities.
Join a Guild
*Rune Slayer* is incredibly friendly to solo players, but as you progress, you'll encounter formidable enemies designed for group combat. Joining a guild is the easiest way to find a group to tackle these challenges. Use in-game chat or the official *Rune Slayer* Discord server to find a guild that suits you, and prepare to conquer the toughest foes with your new allies.
That's all you need to get started on your *Rune Slayer* adventure. Enjoy the game, and if you're yet to dive in, be sure to check out the *Rune Slayer* Trello and Discord for more insights and community engagement.
