January brings a fresh start, and what better way to begin than with a new Honkai: Star Rail expansion arriving January 15th? This major update kicks off a brand-new chapter, sending players on an extensive journey to the uncharted world of Amphoreus. MiHoYo promises this two-part adventure (spanning versions 3.0 to 3.7) will be the most expansive yet.
The Astral Express, needing to refuel, lands on Amphoreus, a planet cloaked in mystery and a chaotic vortex, making external study impossible. Its inhabitants are unaware of the wider universe, promising a captivating challenge for players.
Unraveling the secrets of Amphoreus
This expansion introduces three new playable characters: Herta, Aglaea, and the Remembrance Trailblazer. Familiar faces also return, alongside limited five-star characters Lingsha Feixiao and Jade (in the first half), and Boothill, Robin, and Silver Wolf (in the second half).
MiHoYo's commitment to Honkai: Star Rail is evident, especially considering the successful launch of Zenless Zone Zero last year. It appears Hoyoverse aims to make each of its 2024 releases truly exceptional.
