In the fourth cycle of Wanderstop, a striking, humanoid bird visits the shop seeking a sophisticated cup of tea. Following her departure, three businessmen—Jerry, Larry, and Terry—arrive, all dressed in suits and carrying briefcases, en route to a boardroom presentation. Despite Alta's efforts to point out their navigational error and her offer of tea, the businessmen decline, insisting on coffee. They decide to linger at the shop until their preferred beverage becomes available.

Boro, the tea shop's owner, reveals that coffee has never been cultivated in the forest, initially leaving Alta feeling frustrated about meeting the businessmen's demands. However, the arrival of an interdimensional character named Zenith, who is fascinated by the businessmen, changes the situation.

Zenith, intrigued by the businessmen, agrees to try Alta's tea despite their usual preference for coffee. This interaction paves the way for a new discovery in the world of Wanderstop.

How to Unlock Coffee Beans in Wanderstop

To unlock coffee beans, players need to prepare a special cup of tea for Zenith, incorporating something valuable such as a book, trinket, pot, mug, small plant, or photograph. After tasting this unique brew, Zenith becomes curious about the differences between tea and coffee and what it would take to provide the latter for the businessmen. Alta's mention of "coffee beans" sparks a revelation for Zenith.

Utilizing the Infinite Path, Zenith summons coffee beans to the forest, marking their first appearance in the clearing. Instructions for harvesting and brewing these beans are then added to Alta's Field Guide.

How to Harvest and Brew Coffee in Wanderstop

After Zenith's intervention, coffee beans begin to grow wild in the clearing, respawning randomly. Players can harvest these beans similarly to fruits and seeds, storing them in their ingredients pocket or carrying them individually. They can also be placed on shelves, tables, floors, or the ground outside.

Before brewing, the beans must be cleaned. Place them in the dishwasher and wait for them to be delivered by the dish trains to the tea room.

To brew coffee, pour water into the tea maker and heat it as required by the order. Use the gear mechanism to pour the water into the infuser. A single bean is sufficient to brew coffee, though additional beans or other ingredients may be requested by customers. After brewing, use the gear to pour the coffee into the kettle below, then decant it into mugs for serving to customers, Boro, or Alta.

Introducing coffee not only satisfies the businessmen but also delights Zenith and offers a new beverage option for other customers. Even Boro, though not a fan, is willing to give it a try.

That's how you unlock, harvest, and brew coffee in Wanderstop.
