Get ready to immerse yourself in a world teeming with Bug-type Pokémon, including the debut of Sizzlipede and its evolved form, Centiskorch. This event promises an action-packed experience with wild encounters, exciting raids, bountiful bonuses, and fresh challenges to keep you engaged throughout.

Lure Modules will be your best friend during the Bug Out event. Not only will they help you attract Sizzlipede, but if you manage to catch enough Pokémon using a single Lure Module at a PokéStop, you'll see an increase in Pokémon appearances.

During the event, you'll earn double XP and extra Candy for Nice Throws or better, with an enhanced chance of getting Candy XL for trainers level 31 and above. Shiny hunters will be thrilled to know that the odds of encountering Shiny Wurmple and Shiny Venipede are boosted.

The wild will be bustling with Bug-type Pokémon such as Caterpie, Weedle, Wurmple, Nincada, Venipede, Dwebble, Joltik, Grubbin, Dewpider, and Nymble. Keep an eye out; you might even spot the elusive Cutiefly.

In one-star raids, you'll encounter Sizzlipede alongside Scyther and Nincada, while three-star raids will feature Beedrill, Scizor, and Kleavor. Completing event-themed Field Research tasks will reward you with Mega Energy, Scatterbug Candy, and encounters with event Pokémon.
