Fields of Mistria, like many farming simulators, includes a fishing minigame. The rarest fish are the Legendary Fish, and this guide details how to catch them all.

Legendary Fish Locations

Four Legendary Fish await discovery in Fields of Mistria. Their rarity is offset by an in-game notification at the start of each day, alerting you to their presence ("A legendary fish is nearby"). Remember, the Legendary fishing skill (Tier 3, 80 Essences) must be unlocked before these fish will appear. Catching all four in your first year is unlikely, so prioritize unlocking this skill before year two.

Spring – Cherry Fish

The Cherry Fish, a spring-exclusive, favors ponds. The large eastern pond near the city is recommended. Focus on windy days and ignore larger fish shadows; the Cherry Fish is small. The smaller pond near the Mistria Town Manor House provides an alternative location.

Summer – Lightning Fish

The Lightning Fish, a summer resident, requires stormy weather. The Narrows river (west of the city) offers two prime fishing spots, but other rivers (city, farm) are worth exploring. This fish is medium-sized.

Fall – Leaf Fish

The Leaf Fish, an autumnal find, is also found in rivers, particularly those along the Eastern Road. Windy days are key, and its small size necessitates careful observation of smaller shadows.

Winter – Snow Fish

The Snow Fish, winter's offering, appears on snowy days at the beach. Explore both the shore and the small western island for optimal chances. Its medium size makes it relatively easier to spot amongst other fish.

Using Legendary Fish

Donating all four Legendary Fish to the Museum unlocks a reward: Fish Wings. Museum collection progress influences additional rewards, such as furniture, recipes, and treasure chests.
