Nothing's quite as unnerving as a house cat speaking human languages, is there? Fortunately, in Monster Hunter Wilds, you can easily alter your Palico's communication style. Here's how to modify your Palico's language settings:

There are two methods for changing your Palico's language: through the in-game settings or via the character creator.
Method 1: Game Settings
- Access the in-game menu by pressing the Options button.
- Navigate to "Game Settings."
- Select the "Audio" tab.
- Locate the "Palico Language" option.
- Choose either "Felyne Language" (meows and purrs, with subtitles) or "Set Voice Type" (your game's language).
Method 2: Character Creator
- Enter your tent and access the character creator from the menu.
- While customizing your Palico's appearance, you can select "Felyne Language" as a vocal option. You can also adjust its voice pitch and tone here.
This setting doesn't impact gameplay, so choose whichever option you prefer. While "Felyne Language" offers a more immersive and arguably charming experience, constantly reading subtitles might be inconvenient. Using "Set Voice Type" provides convenience, especially during combat. The choice is entirely yours.
