China has approved the release of the Genshin Impact, GTA and ZZZ hybrid
The highly anticipated Project Mugen, now officially titled Ananta, is nearing its full release. Initial promotional material has generated significant buzz, showcasing a unique blend of popular game elements reminiscent of Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and even GTA, all presented within a captivating anime aesthetic.
Ananta's release in China has been approved, with a projected launch in 2025 across PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile platforms. A recent trailer (December 5th) revealed Ananta as an open-world urban RPG where players assume the role of an A.C.D. agent in Nova, a sun-kissed coastal city brimming with mystery and adventure.
This ambitious large-scale project is a collaborative effort between NetEase Studios, Thunder Fire Studio, and Naked Rain. Its global appeal stems from its familiar yet supernatural environments.
