Clash of Clans is set to roll out a massive update in March 2025, addressing long-standing player requests with transformative changes. This update is introducing some of the most significant modifications in the game’s history, phasing out several longstanding mechanics.

No More Training Time for Troops, Spells, or Siege Machines!

Starting with the update, players in Titan League and below will enjoy uninterrupted action. There will be no downtime for troop, spell, or siege machine training, allowing for back-to-back attacks and faster-paced gameplay. Similarly, hero recovery time is eliminated, keeping your heroes active and engaged. However, Legend League players will retain their current daily battle limit of eight for now.

These changes reflect Supercell’s ongoing effort to streamline outdated mechanics. Training costs were removed in 2022, and with this update, training time has been completely eliminated, providing players with unrestricted gameplay.

Alongside these updates, Training Potions and Training Treats are becoming obsolete and will be phased out. Any remaining items in player inventories will be converted into Gems, while they’ll disappear from in-app purchase bundles.

Introducing the New Match Anytime System!

To address scenarios where real bases aren’t readily available, the Match Anytime system is being introduced. This feature enables players to attack snapshot bases—saved versions of real player bases under Shield. Functioning similarly to regular battles, these snapshots allow attackers to earn loot and trophies, while defenders remain unaffected.

This system has already been implemented in Clan Wars and Legend League attacks, and it’s now expanding to multiplayer battles.

Additional Tweaks in the Update

With the removal of training time, the trophy reward structure is being adjusted. Players can expect fewer trophies per victory due to the increased frequency of battles. Additionally, Clan Castle request timers are being standardized across all leagues at 10 minutes.
