Within this game, the Carnival of Doom stands out as a captivating side quest where players face off against the cunning clown, Chuckles, in a sinister game. This guide offers a detailed walkthrough to help you successfully navigate and conquer the quest, ensuring you triumph over Chuckles' deceptive strategies. Let's dive in!
How to Navigate to the Carnival of Doom Quest in Once Human
Before diving into the navigation, here's a quick overview of the quest:
Quest Name: Carnival of Doom
Quest Type: World Task
Recommended Level: 10
Location: Junkyard in Broken Delta, southwest of Meyer's Market
Objective: Defeat Chuckles in a rigged game of Russian Roulette
While the recommended level is 10, you may be able to complete it at lower levels if you're adept with the game's controls. To start the quest, head to the southwest of Meyer's Market in the Junkyard POI. Be prepared to encounter Rosetta soldiers in the area; ensure your weapons are fully upgraded to dispatch them efficiently with minimal damage taken.
Once you initiate the quest, you'll be transported to a surreal, toy-like dimension ruled by Chuckles. Your main goal is to defeat him in a game of Russian Roulette, which is rigged against you. Here's how to outsmart him:
- Avoid Immediate Engagement: Don't rush into the game with Chuckles immediately, as it's set up for your failure.
- Activate Spacetime Vision: Press 'Q' to use your Spacetime Vision, which will reveal a cable running from the roulette table to a hidden spot.
- Trace the Cable: Follow the highlighted cable to a wall where another figure resembling Chuckles is manipulating the game.
- Request a Break: Go back to Chuckles and choose the dialogue option to take a break. This will cause him to unlock a nearby door, giving you access to the area behind the wall.
- Confront the Deceptive Clown: Move through the unlocked door to the room where the second Chuckles is controlling the cheating device. Since firearms are disabled in this dimension, arm yourself with a melee weapon, approach stealthily, and eliminate him.
- Disable the Cheating Device: After dealing with the second Chuckles, interact with the Roulette Cheating Device to deactivate it, ensuring a fair game.
- Challenge Chuckles Again: Return to the main area and engage Chuckles in the game once more. This time, opt to pull the trigger yourself. With the cheating mechanism disabled, the game will turn in your favor, leading to Chuckles' defeat.
Quest Rewards
Upon successfully completing the quest, you will receive the following rewards:
- Energy Link: x200
- Experience Points: x500
- Stellar Planula: x7
- Eclipse Cortex Lv. 2: x1
- Voodoo Doll Deviation: A unique item capable of absorbing a portion of incoming damage or redirecting damage to enemies when deployed.
For an enhanced gaming experience, consider playing Once Human on your PC or laptop via BlueStacks, using a keyboard and mouse for more precise control.
