This side quest, "Hush, My Darling," in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, begins not in Kuttenberg City, but in the nearby village of Miskowitz, located to the west. Prepare your blacksmithing skills—you'll need them!

Finding Martha and Accepting the Quest

Martha resides in the house attached to Miskowitz's forge, situated in the village's southeast corner. Speak with her, inquiring if she needs assistance. When she mentions needing a blacksmith, confidently reply, "I'm a blacksmith! I'd be glad to help," to initiate "Hush, My Darling." If you haven't yet completed the related Matthew storyline (involving the Dry Devil's group), the bailiff standing near Martha provides another way to locate her.

Crafting the Horseshoes

You may already possess the necessary materials: two Farmer's Horseshoes. If not, acquire two Scrap Metal pieces and craft them at the forge. Once complete, return to Martha.

Victoria's Disappearance and the Search

Martha instructs you to deliver the horseshoes to Victoria, whose house lies south of the forge. Upon arrival, you'll discover blood instead of Victoria. Inspect the blood to trigger the next step. Inform Martha of your grim finding, leading her to suggest searching Sigismund's camp.

Sigismund's Camp and Black's Secret

Sigismund's camp is south of Opatowitz. You might encounter Matthew en route, if you haven't already. Question the blacksmith in the camp about Victoria; he'll mention a soldier named Black. Find Black in the infirmary tent—he's ill.

Black requires medicine before divulging information. Provide him with a Digestive Potion (craft one if needed). Allow a couple of hours for the potion to take effect. He'll reveal Victoria's likely location: the eastern woods. Find her at the quest marker.

Speak with Victoria to conclude "Hush, My Darling." Your dialogue choices have no impact on future events, though mentioning Black's promise to look after her offers a comforting note.
