Before diving into "Under the Straw Hat," you'll need to initiate the "In Vino Veritas" side quest in Kuttenberg. Upon arrival, head to the west side of the city, where you'll find Casper Rudolf offering free wine samples. He's looking for someone to gather information to refine his wine production.

You have two pathways to obtain the necessary wine knowledge. The first option is to directly approach Havel, the wine expert. However, to impress him, ensure you're dressed in fine attire and clean. Engage him in conversation and select the following responses: "Germany," "Steinberger," and "It’s missing ginger." These answers are crucial to obtaining the information Casper needs. After speaking with Havel, return to Casper and share what you've learned.

Alternatively, you can retrieve Casper's book from Adleta and study it to gain the required wine knowledge. This route allows you to bypass the need to impress Havel directly.

Access the Vineyard

With the initial task complete, Casper now needs you to infiltrate a vineyard north of Kuttenberg to learn more about the incense Havel mentioned. Avoid wandering into the fields, as it's considered trespassing. Instead, follow the main road into the vineyard and speak to the recruiter, who will officially start the "Under the Straw Hat" quest in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. Continue along the road, pass a guard, and locate Jerome on a bench. Inform Jerome that you've been instructed to report there, and he'll brief you on the vineyard's operations.

Working at the Vineyard

Unfortunately, your job at the vineyard begins the next day. Spend the night at an inn or elsewhere and return to the vineyard in the morning. If you choose to work, you'll need to move sacks to their designated locations and pick plants like Thistle around the vines to earn your pay. However, if you're solely focused on the mission, you can head straight to the wine cellar for the secret incense.

The wine cellar is located in the main building, downstairs from where you met Jerome. Accessing it requires either a lockpick or stealing the keys from Jerome. Once inside, locate a chest and take all the Sulphur Wicks it contains, which fulfills the main objective of the quest. For an increased reward, you can also collect seedlings for Casper. From the entrance of the main building, go straight to the opposite door to find the seedlings. Be swift, as this is another restricted area, and you must avoid being caught.

If you opted to work, report to Jerome at the end of the day to collect your wages. Otherwise, return to Casper with the Sulphur Wicks and, if collected, the seedlings.

Completing these steps will successfully conclude both the "Under the Straw Hat" and "In Vino Veritas" quests in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. From here, you can explore further side quests like "Master Schindel’s Toys."
