Uncover Master Schindel's Missing Belongings in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

This guide will help you navigate the challenging Master Schindel's Toys quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. This side quest becomes available during the main story mission, "Into the Underworld," requiring you to locate the informant, Goatskin.

The quest begins by speaking with Goatskin. To find him, interact with individuals at the Kuttenberg bathhouse, starting with the Madam and then Adam. Adam will reveal Goatskin's involvement in the theft. Locate Goatskin by following Udo, a bathhouse patron who leaves in the evening. Goatskin will attempt to rob Udo in a nearby alley, providing an opportunity for confrontation.

During this encounter, you can acquire a map of the Kuttenberg Underground from Goatskin (either through skill checks or bribery). The map pinpoints the location of the stolen items. The Kuttenberg gallows, southeast of the city, holds the body possessing the map.

To quickly recover the stolen items, locate the northern entrance to the Kuttenberg Underground. Descend the ladder into the dark underground area (remember your torch!). Follow a path primarily involving left turns, eventually reaching a barrel at a dead end. You may need to jump down to a lower level. The barrel contains the stolen book and astrolabe.

Return to the surface and locate Master Schindel (usually northeast of the city during the day). Returning his possessions will complete the quest, rewarding you with reputation and additional insights from Master Schindel regarding the astrolabe and planetary movements.
