Crashlands 2 Update 1.1 Released: Compendium Returns
Today marks the release of a significant update for *Crashlands 2*, version 1.1, from the developers at Butterscotch Shenanigans. This update introduces several features and challenges that fans of the original *Crashlands* have eagerly awaited.
What’s in Store in Crashlands 2 Update 1.1?
A new *Legend Mode* has been added, offering an even greater challenge than the existing *Challenge Mode*. In this mode, enemies on Woanope are faster, deal more damage, and have increased health, while Flux Dabes becomes more vulnerable. Completing Legend Mode won't unlock additional achievements, but it will automatically grant all lower-difficulty achievements as a reward.
On the other end of the spectrum, *Explorer Mode* caters to players interested in a more relaxed experience. This mode reduces combat intensity, allowing players to focus on farming mushrooms, building charming homes, and fishing without the constant threat of danger. It's perfect for those who wish to immerse themselves in the story, decorate their base, and enjoy the quirky characters of *Crashlands 2*.
A major highlight of this update is the reintroduction of *The Compendium*. Responding to community feedback, The Compendium tracks everything Flux discovers, including pets, recipes, and items, helping players track their progress toward completing their collection goals.
Pets also got a bit of an upgrade
In *Crashlands 2* Update 1.1, pets now assist during combat and each has a unique ability that can be activated every 20 seconds. This update also enhances gear crafting with the introduction of random bonus stats on armor, along with a variety of new gadgets, weapons, and trinkets.
Numerous quality-of-life improvements have been integrated into this update. Players can now build on a wider variety of terrain, customize the location of their home teleporter, and adjust the darkness level at night, enhancing the overall gameplay experience.
You can download *Crashlands 2* from the Google Play Store. It's worth noting that the game was launched on April 10th, and this update demonstrates Butterscotch Shenanigans' commitment to responding to player feedback.
