Century Games, the studio behind the hit game Whiteout Survival, has quietly soft-launched a new strategy game: Crown of Bones. In this title, players command an army of skeletal minions, upgrading their forces and battling mortal enemies.

Given Whiteout Survival's success, Century Games' expansion into new genres isn't surprising. Crown of Bones, currently in soft launch in the US and Europe, offers a casual strategy experience. Players assume the role of a Skeleton King, leading their bony army across diverse environments, from lush farmlands to harsh deserts.

Maintaining a family-friendly approach, similar to Whiteout Survival, Crown of Bones features charming, non-offensive visuals. The gameplay emphasizes upgrades, collectible items, and progressively challenging levels, with leaderboards allowing competition against friends and other players.

While details are scarce, Crown of Bones appears to draw inspiration from other strategy games, a strategy that clearly worked for Whiteout Survival. The developer's casual approach to survival, reminiscent of Frostpunk, proved highly successful.
