All-Star Superman consistently ranks among the greatest Superman comics ever, notably featured on IGN's Top 25 list. Now, fans can immerse themselves in this iconic story through a new medium: a full-cast audiobook, thanks to a collaboration between DC and Penguin Random House.

Meghan Fitzmartin has adapted the original work by Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely into this auditory experience. Frank Quitely has also contributed a fresh cover illustration for the audiobook, which is showcased below:

Set in a unique universe, All-Star Superman explores Superman's journey as he confronts his mortality after an incident where he flies too close to the sun. The narrative follows Kal-El as he discloses his secret identity to Lois Lane and embarks on a series of heroic challenges reminiscent of the 12 Labors of Hercules, culminating in a final confrontation with Lex Luthor.

It's worth noting that All-Star Superman was previously adapted into an animated movie in 2011.
