It's almost over! No, not Dead Cells itself, but the free updates. After years of relentless content additions since 2018, the developers are bringing the curtain down on Dead Cells Mobile's update cycle. But what a finale it is!

What's in the Final Updates?

The final two updates, "Clean Cut" and "The End is Near," are now available on Android, delivering a final wave of cursed delights. While updates cease after this, the game remains playable.

These updates introduce four formidable new weapons: giant Sewing Scissors and the Misericorde (a sword dealing massive critical damage to low-health enemies—but at a cost if you don't finish them off!), the Anathema (a heavy ranged weapon that explodes on impact, with a similar curse mechanic), and the Indulgence skill, which unleashes a powerful beam of light, capable of purging some of your accumulated curses.

Beyond weapons, players can explore new modes like Speedrun and Boss Rush DIY, along with 40 brand new heads to customize their character, and a convenient NPC to swap them at will.

New Mutations and Enemies Await

The updates also introduce a trio of challenging new mutations: Cursed Flask (use health flasks without consuming charges), Damned Vigor (brief invincibility to secure a kill), and Demonic Strength (increased damage while cursed).

Prepare to face a new roster of enemies: the Sore Loser (a clingy curse-inflicting foe), the Curser (firing guided cursed skulls), and the terrifying Doom Bringer (capable of instant death with enough curse stacks).
