Dead by Daylight Collaborates with Resident Evil for 2v8 Mode Revival
Dead by Daylight's thrilling new 2v8 mode, a crossover with the Resident Evil franchise, pits iconic Capcom villains against a team of Resident Evil heroes. This limited-time event offers a unique gameplay experience.
Players can assume the roles of two infamous antagonists: the relentless Nemesis and the manipulative Albert Wesker (The Puppeteer). They'll hunt a team of familiar survivors, including Jill Valentine, Leon Kennedy, Claire Redfield, and Ada Wong. The action unfolds within the iconic Raccoon City Police Station.
This collaboration marks the first time Nemesis and Wesker are paired as Killers in this game mode, creating a truly unique dynamic. Each Killer utilizes their signature infection abilities: Nemesis employs the T-Virus, while Wesker unleashes the power of Uroboros.
Survivors and Killers alike can collect special Resident Evil-themed herbs. Green herbs heal survivors, yellow herbs repair hooks, and even Killers benefit from a temporary speed boost with collected herbs.
A significant gameplay shift involves the introduction of a new Class System, replacing traditional Powers and Perks. This system adds strategic depth for both Killers and Survivors.
