Delta Force, previously known as Delta Force: Hawk Ops, is now available for pre-registration on iOS and Android! This Tencent-developed title marks a significant entry into the modern military shooter market, blending diverse missions and modes with a tactical gameplay focus. Launching late January 2025, it promises a revival of the iconic franchise.

For those unfamiliar, Delta Force holds a prominent place in FPS history, predating even Call of Duty. Inspired by the real-life US special forces unit, it's known for realistic action, advanced gadgets, and authentic weaponry.

Tencent's Level Infinite has masterfully reimagined Delta Force. Expect large-scale warfare in the Battlefield-style "Warfare" mode, and intense extraction-focused gameplay in "Operations." A single-player campaign, drawing inspiration from the Battle of Mogadishu and the film "Black Hawk Down," is also planned for 2025.

Addressing Cheating Concerns

Despite high anticipation, Delta Force hasn't escaped controversy. Cheating, a persistent problem in online shooters, has been a major concern. While Tencent's anti-cheat team, G.T.I. Security, is actively working to combat this, their aggressive approach, including restrictions on certain PC software and hardware, has faced criticism.

Though the mobile platform may present fewer cheating opportunities, this controversy could still impact Delta Force's reception. However, the mobile release offers a chance for the game to meet expectations on a platform less susceptible to widespread cheating.
