What Can You Do After You Finish Assassin’s Creed Shadows? Answered

After finishing the main quest, Assassin’s Creed Shadows remains open for exploration. The vast world of Feudal Japan is filled with side content that you can continue to enjoy without any restrictions. Whether it's completing additional missions, exploring new areas, or engaging in other activities, there's no shortage of things to do.

Moreover, post-launch, the Animus will introduce new weekly challenges, ensuring that even after achieving 100% completion, there will be fresh content to keep you engaged.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows Epilogue and Endgame Explained

Even after the credits roll, your journey in Assassin’s Creed Shadows might not be over. In my playthrough, the credits appeared after completing the Shinbakufu Objective Board and the main quests of Yasuke and Naoe. However, to unlock the epilogue and true ending, you'll need to finish the personal stories of Naoe, Yasuke, and Junjiro, then return to the Hideout to speak with Tomiko. This will grant you the complete ending and the associated achievements.

Additionally, near the end of the game, you can earn exclusive gear themed around the Assassins for Naoe and the Templars for Yasuke. These armor sets not only enhance each protagonist’s unique playstyle but also appeal to fans of the Assassin’s Creed series with their nostalgic designs.

As for endgame content, you can continue to progress and reach the game’s max level cap long after the credits have rolled.

What’s Next For Assassin’s Creed Shadows?

While the main story of Assassin’s Creed Shadows concludes at launch, there's more to anticipate. The Animus will bring new content, and the in-game store will likely see updates with new items. Furthermore, a story expansion titled The Claws of Awaji is set to release later in 2025, adding over 10 hours of content on the Island of Awaji.
