Disney Dreamlight Valley's Storybook Vale expansion introduces a plethora of new ingredients, some more elusive than others. Mussels, a type of shellfish, present a particular challenge for some players. This guide will help you locate these surprisingly water-filtering mollusks.

Finding Mussels in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Mussels are found on the ground throughout Mythopia, specifically within these areas:

• The Elysian Fields
• The Fiery Plains
• The Statue's Shadow
• Mount Olympus

While some players report readily finding Mussels in these locations, others find them scarce and inconsistently spawning. One potential hotspot is near Trial areas, such as the first Trial in the Elysian Fields (Hades' unlock). A cluster of Mussels can also be found behind a hidden bush in the Elysian Fields during Hades' "A Moth to a Flame" quest. Unlocking this area may increase Mussel spawns across Mythopia.

Mussel Uses in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Unlike some other Storybook Vale seafood, Mussels aren't used in crafting. Their primary use is as a cooking ingredient in these recipes:
