Disney Mirrorverse Announces EOS By The End Of This Year

Disney Mirrorverse, the mobile action RPG featuring a unique blend of Disney and Pixar characters, is shutting down. Developer Kabam announced the End of Service (EOS) date as December 16th, 2024.

The game is already unavailable on the Google Play Store, and in-app purchases are disabled. Players have approximately three months remaining to enjoy the game before the servers are permanently closed.

A Look Back at Disney Mirrorverse:

Launched in June 2022, Disney Mirrorverse offered a compelling action RPG experience with reimagined Disney and Pixar characters. Despite initial excitement, the game struggled to retain players due to a lengthy beta period and infrequent content updates.

The game's challenging shard collection system, requiring significant investment to fully develop characters, also contributed to player attrition. However, the game's artistic merit, particularly its creative and visually impressive character designs, remains noteworthy.

The Unexpected EOS Announcement:

The announcement is particularly surprising given the recent release of new story content and the addition of Cinderella as a playable character just a week prior. This abrupt closure echoes Kabam's past decisions, including the sudden shutdowns of Transformers: Forged to Fight and a Marvel Contest of Champions spin-off.

The Disney Mirrorverse EOS leaves many fans disappointed. What are your thoughts? Share your opinions in the comments below. And don't forget to check out our article on Zombies In Conflict Of Nations: World War 3 Season 15!
